This quarter, we look at Isaiah, his words, his times, his predicaments—but mostly at his God, the God who, both then and now, cries out to us, “Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine” (Isa. 43:1).

He has both the love and the power to guide, protect, and provide for those who let Him. For those who turn to other powers, there is only gloom.
